The Alder Group wrote, edited and translated Towards a Healthier Workplace: A Guidebook on Tobacco Control Policies on behalf of the Tobacco Control Program, Office of Prevention, Cessation and Education, Health Canada. The guide included sections for employers and employees, policy options and samples, tools and handouts, presentation materials, contact list, and successful case stories. Other activities included an environmental scan of print and web-based resources, the development of a framework for pilot testing the guidebook and a promotion and dissemination plan.

The Alder Group wrote, edited and translated a set of 10 brochures for parents and caregivers of children age 0 to 6, on behalf of the Ontario government's Children's Secretariat Early Years program. The series provides advice on healthy child development, with an emphasis on early learning.
