The Alder Group now offers clients two additional PhD Research Associates joining Dr. Michael Trottier, for project assignment. Drs. Malcolm Anderson and Alexandra Hendriks strengthen our already talented roster of consultants, by providing Principal Investigator capacity to research undertakings, as well as senior consultant services on a range of strategic planning and communications jobs. Dedicated researchers with complementary skill sets in a wide range of subject areas and methodologies, all three have extensive facilitation expertise and are especially strong writers.
Dr. Malcom Anderson
Dr. Anderson has facilitated change processes and developed evaluation frameworks and outcomes measurement systems, as well as conducted numerous evaluations with local, regional, provincial and national organizations. He has evaluated the Health Transition Fund and the Primary Health Care Transition Fund as part of The Alder Group team, conducted formative evaluation work for the federal government, examined human resources and workflow processes in home and community care and acute care settings, and has developed web-based mapping and decision support tools for health care organizations. He uses a collaborative utilization-focused approach to the work he does with clients. His current interests focus on knowledge translation and the effective use of evidence to inform decision-making.
Dr. Alexandra Hendriks
Dr. Hendriks has carried out a range of assignments as part of The Alder Group over the last year. A talented bilingual facilitator and rigourous project manager, she brings more than 15 years professional experience as an evaluator working in the public, private and non-profit sectors. She is also a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa where she teaches undergraduate courses in research methods and organizational communication. Her areas of professional expertise include quantitative and qualitative research methods, focus group moderation, survey design, statistical analysis and report writing.
