Innovative Knowledge Transfer Evaluation

Adding to The Alder Group’s already extensive body of work in the area of tobacco control, The Lung Association’s Youth Advocacy Training Institute (YATI) has recently hired The Alder Group to carry out a Knowledge Transfer and Exchange Evaluation of their annual Take!Action Youth Summit.

The Alder Group’s CEO, Jean-Marc Dupont states: “I am extremely pleased we are able to contribute to such a significant project that will undoubtedly help YATI plan its events more effectively in the future and meet its organizational goals. Their commitment to understanding what types of knowledge transfer happen, over what stages, allows us to take this assignment beyond traditional event evaluations. These youth spend a lot of time on Facebook, so to also be able to look at the impact that such virtual social networks play in knowledge exchange is really important. There are important contributions to make here, as so little research has been done in this area.”

This project benefits from The Alder Group’s services in program evaluation, with a specific emphasis on conceptual modeling, instrument development, survey research, facilitation, data analysis and report writing.
